There was a grey and white cat with an owl's beak. It had very large, fluffy ears. Tiny baby versions of it hung off its beard, possum-like. A train went past, startling the ... kittens(?) and the scampered up to safety inside the ears.
The owlcat blinked placidly, untroubled by the train's passage.
