EndWeek, days 3 and 4

So, yesterday, after a bunch of lounging around, I went over to
casadelatoolia.
Where I lounged around. That was pretty sweet.
I gave Justin his present: Bob Marley tee-shirt.
I gave Tom and Julia their present: Glass charms, which hook around the stem of wine glasses, so you can tell who's glass is whose.
As I said then, this is to encourage them to have intimate dinner parties, as there's six charms. Hopefully they got the hint that I'd like to be at these parties.
On the other hand, Justin's present isn't to encourage him to wear a shirt or anything.
Around midnight, I drove
whirlygig,
andrewaskew and
giant_bee home, then returned to Tom and Julia's. There, I proceeded to get myself gothed up (not make-up or anything, I hadn't brought any and couldn't be arsed, especially since I intended to dance hard).
Outfit:
-Black dress pants (not so exciting)
-New boots (somewhat more exciting)
-My white covered-button grandpa collar shirt (I like that shirt, it's so comfy and looks nice, I think)
-My new cassock (Awesome! Flows so nicely, looks so cool, cost $8!)
-A funky hat, which is kind of like a fedora but with a taller peak.
I'm told I looked way sexy. I'm going to take this as encouragement.
So, we got to Vortex, which is of course where we were going, what with it being a good place to go when gothed up, as it's a goth club.
There was some worry over whether Julia could get in, as her ID was a touch dodgy, but we had no real problems.
Then we danced!
Tried downstairs (nineties and naughties stuff) first, the upstairs (eighties), having been tempted up by Rebel, Rebel, but sadly it didn't really pan out up there. So we returned to the far more danceable downstairs, where thumping beats kept us swinging it for quite some time.
Being told "You are an awesome dancer" is a great feeling. I miss dancing as often as I did. I should get around to dancing again. Like, in a lessons and performances kind of way, rather than just a club thing. Though the club thing can be awesome fun.
Three hours later, we decided to head home (this about four am, now). So we did.
Slept at Tom and Julia's (changed out of outfit first).
Got up, rustled together all but
furpants_tom to go for breakfast. Oh yeah, the others being:
juliadactyl,
tabithina,
justinant and
illykai.
So, I gathered these rookies up and moved them out to enact a plan:
A plan... of BreakyCurry.
Truly, it was an excellent plan.
They called me mad.
MAD!
But it was great. As I told them it would be.
There was only the slightest flaw in it: My keycard decided to give up on being a keycard.
So I borrowed money off Julia for food. It's good to have ace friends who share your feelings on sharing things. Like, even if you don't have fat wads of cash, you can still help a friend out if you don't need the money right now. Especially if you know that they'll pay you back real soon.
Not that's real soon, not Real Soon Now™. Which means never.
So, the curry acquired, the Everything Is Okay alarm began sounding every ten seconds again (ah, the AWFUL ideas that Justin and I come up with). I took Owen home, dropped Justin near the train station, then returned to Tom and Julia's. Where I hung around with them some more.
Tom and I watched Fantastic Planet. It's absolutely screwy. Reminds me of Terry Gilliam (for the art style), Yellow Submarine, Heavy Metal (the comic, that is; for the story) and a whole bunch of other strange stuff that I can't think of now. Though I could when I was sort of half-asleep, which happened occasionally during that movie, what with only getting four hours sleep and being on a comfy futon in front of a slow movie.
Hey, that sounds like when I tried to watch Alien after being awake for thirty hours straight. On a comfy couch. Maybe that's not the best plan ever.
Anyway, it's whack! It has duelling by tieing your hands behind your back and strapping a big lizard to your chest. You attack and block by thrusting your lizard at the other person.
Woah.
Then I came here.
This means I was at Tom and Julia's or doing stuff with them, for twenty-four hours straight.
Excellent.
Hmm, that's an interesting idea: Spend twenty-four hours in the direct company of a specific person. This would be dead easy between some people, very unusual for others. I wonder how many of my friends I've done this with unknowingly?
Anyway, all is well.
*Sounds the Everything Is Okay alarm*
