Today: The 10 peso version
Apr. 21st, 2005 11:17 pmWent to work.
Kathy (the Children's Library Assistant) loudly noted how energetic and bubbly I seemed, which only served to affirm my cheer. :)
The Home Library run was fine, no different from usual.
Then, when I returned, Linda (the "Manager of Library Services") asked me if I could race over to Burwood Library to pick up an urgently needed Inter-Library Loan.
Which is a little weird, as I'm apparently not allowed to drive the Home Library van.
But I AM allowed to drive her (council) car.
Odd.
But cool, as I got to spring into action and go to the rescue, which would seem to totally be my style. :)
After work, I dropped home for a shower, handled some much welcome correspondence and went over to Jaime's (LJ-less!) to catch up with him.
It was very good to hang out with Jaime, shooting the breeze and talking about stuff.
We watched the hilarious Murder by death before Alice came home, then he expanded my Doctor Who education with Pyramids of Mars, from which Sutekh gets its name.
Then the three of us supped on a delicious taco and burrito dinner while watching The three Amigos (from which I'd drawn much of my character inspiration for playing in Talkies).
Now I'm home.
So that's life, up to the present.

The world can always do with more cheery people. It's good to see Benj :)

11 minutes. Why?
Thanks, Andy. :)
