I love Phillip K Dick, but his stuff is really hit and miss. It's not so shocking when you consider the fact that he was a Paranoid Schizophrenic, and that it must have been extremely hard for him to be consistent.

My two favourites of his are, 'The Man in the High Castle' and 'Eye in the Sky.'
