Long time no see

Wow, it's been a whole week since I last updated. Crazy, baby.
Just haven't been in an updating mood, I suppose.
It actually feels like I haven't done all that much.
Last Thursday and Friday are a blur of work and possibly some other sort of activities. I can't really remember all that clearly. :|
Rhi's (
regency_rhi) birthday picnic on Saturday was the highlight of my week. Much eating, lolling in the sunshine, playing on park play equipment and generally shooting the breeze with groovy folks (not least of whom the illustrious Rhi herself). Good times.
After I came home from the picnic, I watched LA confidential, which Kane (
malinari86) leant me last Tuesday. It's tops. It makes me want even more to read the novels.
Sunday, I worked, which was standard.
Then I went to Andrew's (
andrewaskew) and we played Outside of time. Jaime railed against us staying in downtime between missions, soaking up atmosphere and characterising, but I had a good time, despite being the least involved in the "plot".
Monday, I watched Cursed, which Kane had also leant me.
It's goddawful.
Oh, dear me, but it's poor.
Oh, Christina Ricci, wha' 'ave you done?
Even Scott Baio should be ashamed of himself and he only has a brief cameo.
Come to think of it, even Carrot Top should be ashamed of himself for this movie and he doesn't even appear, just gets named.
It does feature a werewolf giving people the finger, though.
Tuesday, I went into the campus and finished off my "big assignment" for the semester.
Sheesh, but it's hard to stay motivated. I've never been good with academic focus, but they don't help by making things painfully dull.
But it's done.
I have one more exam-esque assessment and I'm finished for the semester.
I had one this morning, which I naturally finished early.
Then - as it's StuVac and people are unlikely to be around the Loggia, I came home, by way of work, to recheck my roster.
Good thing I followed my hunch there, as I'm now working tomorrow morning, which I wasn't when I last looked.
Okay, one more in-class assessment and I'm done for the semester.
Just got back a reply, confirming receipt of my assignment. Rock.
