Got the news today: I got the Librarian job for which I was going!

andrewaskew and I spent a good chunk of Sunday afternoon working on the boardgame we've been talking about for years. We made quite good progress, I feel. We have an interesting dynamic going for the game.
Mostly what's left is coming up with a large number of event cards and figuring out exactly how the resource dynamics will work.
It feels good to have actual movement on things, it makes things seem more real.
Sunday morning, I saw Runaway Jury, which is really good. Great cast, great pacing, great story (but it's a Grisham story, so that's largely to be expected). I highly recommend this movie for people who like legal dramas or con films. Top stuff.
Saturday night, I went to see Marcel Marceau in his final Australian tour. Man, that dude thinks stuff's there that just ISN'T, man!
Friday night was great. Went for $5 drinks withandrewaskew, whirlygig, juliadactyl and furpants_tom. That was very pleasant indeed. I smile.
